Christian Wijnants - Fall/Winter 2006
At just 28 years old, Belgian designer Christian Wijnants is starting to get a lot of attention in fashionable circles. He’s been presenting collections since 2003, but it was last year, when he beat out big name competition like Giles Deacon and Undercover to win the Swiss Textiles Award that the press really sat up and took notice. This season, he’s using his $100,000 prize money to throw himself a proper runway show.
