Chloé - Spring/Summer 2006
We didn't know it at the time, but this would be Phoebe Philo's last collection for the house of Chloé and she sure did leave on a high note. Once again, Philo read the mood of the season perfectly and her swinging babydoll silhouette is turning up everywhere.

Chloé - Fall/Winter 2005
During the off season between Spring and Fall, Chloe designer Phoebe Philo took 3 months maternity leave for the birth of her daughter Maya.
Now, it’s not often that head designers of major fashion houses take off that much time leading up to a runway show. In fact, it almost never happens.
But Phoebe did it and she wasn’t worried. She left the collection in the capable hands of her design staff.

Chloé - Spring/Summer 2005
For the past three years, Phoebe Philo has been designing the Chloé collection in her own image and creating the perfectly nonchalant wardrobe for a generation of women. This season, however, she has that elusive “it” quality in spades – the clothes are easy, they’re sexy, and women just want them.

Chloé - Spring/Summer 2004
Over the past two years, Phoebe Philo has worked at shaping the Chloé label in her own image – clothes that are cool, but not contrived, and have an easy sex appeal without showing too much. There’s just a comfortable familiarity and modern femininity that hits all the right notes and women just want it.

Chloé - Fall/Winter 2003
The Chloé woman continues on her merry way to womanhood but this season designer Phoebe Philo has some surprising inspirations. Her muses were male rock stars of the 70's who borrowed from the woman's wardrobe for their rock star chic. On some level fashion is always autobiography and it was interesting here to watch the contradiction of cocky, confident vulnerability. With original strokes and inventive ideas Philo was able to deal with Chloe's history and still nurture her own of-the-moment sensibilities.

Chloé - Spring/Summer 2003
Shy and retiring Phoebe Philo makes some of the sexiest clothes in fashion and three seasons into the job of head designer at Chloe she no longer needs to prove herself. Philo's nonchalant cool hits just the right note with critics and customers alike. Her sensibilities best defines the style of the London girl on the international catwalk but this season her collection was a modern hybrid of references from the Mediterranean. Her muse was a cross between Kate Moss and Sophia Lauren.

Chloé - Fall/Winter 2002
Phoebe Philo’s 2nd collection for Chloé nailed the DNA of casual, sexy nonchalance that London girls do so well. A heady mix of London eclecticism and Parisian maturity resulted in an irresistible wardrobe of choices. Authenticity and desirability reverberated throughout this collection - reinforcing the notion that it does make a difference when the woman who’s designing the clothes is of the generation of the women who will be wearing them.

Chloé - Spring/Summer 2002
One day Phoebe Philo was Stella McCartney's right hand assistant and the next day she was deemed the right woman to take over the design reins at Chloé. Drawing heavily on the archives of Chloé, Phoebe's relaxed-fun debut made it look like she was tailormade for the job.
