Borrowing the courtyard of l’Ecole des Beaux Arts, Klein simulated a gentle snowfall to set the tone for the debut of his Cher Michel Klein collection – a name that implies both its made-to-measure price tag, and the dearness of the clothes to his fans. This pseudo-couture that is becoming more and more common-place in Paris, is rooted in Klein’s belief that women want charm, femininity, and luxury in their clothes.
