Carolina seems to be handling the transition well, armed with an open mind and the knowledge that all women, young or old, want the same thing from their clothing.

In 1980, Carolina Herrera, then a socialite and forty years old, decided to give it a go as a fashion designer. Now, in addition to being a commercial success, she's also a fashion industry favourite, as she is one of that very rare breed of designer - one who possesses true style. She made her name dressing the New York socialites that inhabit her world. Recently, her label has been attempting to attract a new customer - same zip code, new generation.
