Fashion File - Boudicca
Boudicca - Fall/Winter 2006
Husband and wife design duo Zowie Broach and Brian Kirkby share a dramatic sensibility that initially led them to name their label Boudicca in honour of a Celtic warrior queen, and since then has emerged in a fondness for conceptual clothes. This season, they presented a collection intended to dress “an invisible city” - in their words, against the backdrop of Manhattan at dusk.

Boudicca - Fall/Winter 2005
The avant garde British label Boudicca is the latest English export to make the move from London to New York. This season, they're showing their intriguing tailoring at the Soho Grand Hotel, and bringing a little London theater to the Big Apple.

Boudicca - Spring/Summer 2005
Founded by the husband and wife team of Brian Kirkby and Zowie Broach, Boudicca made big news in 2003 when they became the first label post-Alexander McQueen to receive sponsorship from American Express. Despite receiving a corporate cash infusion Boudicca has remained true to their original vision - one that's staunchly non-commercial. This season Brian and Zowie stuck with the aesthetic that they're known for - the collection featured a gothic sensibility and the show itself was deep, dark and cerebral.

Boudicca - Spring/Summer 2002
Fashion and politics are not the most obvious bedfellows but London design duo Boudicca are doing their utmost to inject a real life sensibility into their work. In a collection entitled "It Pays My Way But Corrodes My Soul" Boudicca designers Zowie Broach and Brian Kirby sent out masked models in conveyor belt fashion to make a statement about anonymity in the corporate world. The clothes themselves were an intriguing take on corporate chic.
