Blaak - Spring/Summer 2005

Aaron Sharif and Sachiko Okada have spent the past three years or so making their Blaak label a serious fashion concern on the London circuit. Now, bolstered by a new sponsorship deal with Swarovski crystal, they are following the path taken by many of their compatriots and have decamped to Paris.

Blaak - Spring/Summer 2002

The designers behind the British label Blaak are two recent Central St. Martin's graduates who are cutting themselves a reputation for contemporary street style with a multi-cultural spin. Sachiko Okade is responsible for designing the womenswear side to the label and Aaron Sharif the menswear. She is of Japanese origin and he is Asian but the common denominator they share is a very "London" energy.
