Sao Paulo-based designer, Alexandre Herchcovitch is one designer whose contrariness is key to his creativity. Along with a vivid imagination he has a passion for structure and form. He is constantly pushing the boundaries of fashion by exploring new shapes, lines and textures. Fall/Winter 2002 was a study in volume which lent drama and character to Herchcovitch's sophisticated tailoring. Ideas and innovation have propelled Herchcovitch into the international arena. His collections are as well received in Paris as they are in his native Sao Paulo.
