The undisputed champ of the recently wrapped New York Spring 2009 Collections is Jourdan Dunn. She snagged all the important shows for a model to book including Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui. Add to those power-houses a list of cool names like Rodarte, Alexander Wang and Marc by Marc Jacobs and this girl becomes the one to beat at London Fashion Week (AND she has the benefit of home-soil advantage). Mythic status is starting to build around the girl they're comparing to the great Ms.Campbell with a sure-to-be historic July Italian Vogue cover. I had a chance to interview her backstage at Alexander Wang, and found her sweet, funny AND well-dressed (TopShop plaid jumper).
