It's Raining Sheilas
So here's a question: what if your fashion week doesn't start with the words New York, Paris or Milan? How do you convey the excitement of those fashion capitals, when yours is clearly a second rate sartorial destination? Well, the Kiwis have one way of going about it:
With the drop between 13,000 ft and 2500 ft as their catwalk, six models strutted their stuff today in some of the country's hottest local designers (yes, that is an oxymoron), to kick off Air New Zealand Fashion Week.
Kudos, Kiwis! Throwing models from a plane is about the only way to play it. And the high heels were a nice touch. But with socks? Blimey! Good luck trying to get that trend to jump hemispheres...
