So for those of you who have been following this blog semi-regularly, you may remember a little entry (Come Back to the Five and Dime, Tanya D, Tanya D) in which I lamented the decline of Tanya D's runway turns during last season's Fall 2008 shows. Well something is up- because I have seen her NOWHERE this season. Don't believe me? Go to Style.com, look up Tanya D and YOU tell me the last show she walked. Hell I'll even make it easy for you - click here. That's right Gaultier Couture, FALL, I repeat FALL 2008. For those of you saying 'So what, she hasn't walked any Spring 2009 Collections'- I say Tanya D IS a runway staple- her and the runway belong together! - it'd be like Fred with no Ginger, Gossip Girl with no Leighton, Oprah and no Gail! . Where are you Tanya D???!!?? (said in a high-pitched, semi-hysterical voice) If anyone sees a 5'11'' blonde with blue eyes and a helluva walk - please report. In the meantime, a little youtube homage. (NB: I would have preferred one with a slightly less upbeat soundtrack...)
