All you shoe-loving Sex and the City fans out there; get yourself to Bergdorf Goodman asap - there's a pair of Manolos with your name on it!

The satin blue ones with the sparkly pilgrim buckles, that also star in the movie, can be yours for a cool $945! (In the movie they only cost Carrie $525 - what's with that??)

Personally, the "Something Blue" Blahniks, custom-made for the film, wouldn't top my list of designer shoe choices, but for many out there Carrie Bradshaw style reigns supreme. Apparently, since their movie debut, Bergdorf Goodman has been inundated with customer requests for the shoes...
In an interview with the International Herald Tribune Blahnik, who'll be in-store autographing the shoes this afternoon (actually, as I type this), was unaware of, and surprised by, the demand and responded with "Oh, good lord. I think that's quite obscene." Mr. Blahnik, beware of fashion fans, and good luck today - there's a heel hungry mob waiting for you no doubt.
The self-described grandfather of shoe designers also had some amusing and very 'grandfatherly' comments on shoe trends today... Appalled by the popularity of platforms, he says "I've never seen such ugly shoes in my life. I thought they were demode in the 1980s. They are getting absolutely funkier and horrid now."
