Lauren Conrad, star of MTV's The Hills, has confirmed that she will be designing a dress for the Emmy Awards next month. The dress will be worn by the "trophy girls" who bring the awards to the stage. LC also designs her own line of clothing entitled the Lauren Conrad Collection, which didn't exactly get the best reception, and for good reason (see for yourself). Given what the LC Collection looks like, I'm guessing the Emmy gown will be boring, dull and made of cotton jersey.
